IIPM College is one of the best colleges for MBA in Mumbai and good crowds. The IIPM college also has a placement cell called IIPM Planman Consulting. There are over 200 students in IIPM college with a wide variety of interests and hobbies. Studies don't keep most of the students busy so IIPM students regularly win inter-college festivals or contests as they always participate. Students of IIPM college come mainly from the punjabi, gujurati & sindhi community living in Dadar, Wadala, Santacruz East, Borivili, Shivaji Park, Vasai, Bandra East, Malad, Virar, Ghatkopar, Chembur, Lower Parel, Sion, Bombay Central, Andheri, Vile Parle, Khar, etc.
The classrooms are few in IIPM College and the buildings are well maintained and kept clean by hard working college staff. You do get Railway Pass Students discount from the Maharashtra Government for this college.
The teachers of IIPM college are not highly qualified but are mainly guest lecturers in Mumbai with few years of experience. The principal of IIPM has a good reputation & runs the college well but is not too strict with dress codes, rules, etc. The college also has post-graduation degree & diploma courses in Management. The outside area has plenty of restaurants including McDonald's, roadside shopping & malls, cinemas & happening joints for the students to go to. Perhaps that is why IIPM consistently has the least students attending their MBA lectures every year. IIPM students are called outstanding students as most of their students are found standing out on the roads outside the college. Also, the college has a bad reputation as most students are found teasing & poking fun at their teachers & guest lecturers.
