Ever Since That First Amazing Kiss

Ever sincethat first amazing kiss
and my breath was stolen
i stood in awe
and my heart surged swollen

with this pure, true love
that filled me up inside
so heaven-like the feeling
i thought maybe my senses lied

but every kiss, every touch after that
all of my heart and soul told me
it was fact

so i looked to God and asked him the
most important question
"is she the one?"
and he said to me
"look in her eyes and tell me what you see, son"

as i gazed into those voluptuous eyes
a wave of warmth and happiness came over me

i knew what he meant
i didn't have to ask
because she had to be

she is my best friend, my lover, my family
i'd never have imagined
i would love someone so whole heartedly

i give you all my love
everything i have to give
all i can think about
is how badly i want to live

to see your beautiful face again
and give you a kiss
because moments like those
i wouldn't do anything to miss

i miss you.. i need you.. i love you.. always and forever
