I Knew

I knewsomething was wrong
but I couldnt seem to place it.
I knew it was almost over
but I didnt wanna face it.

You wouldnt tell me anything
you kept me in the dark.
Now everyone knows I am dumb
and that your the one thats smart.

In a way im glad your gone
But i have to face you sometime
So I know this feeling wont last that long.

Ill miss your visits
your tenderness and care
Ill miss the deep late night talks
we would always share.

I guess thats what ill miss the most
but I know you
and now you will probably boast.

So go ahead
have your foolish pride.
At least I wont have to see you
When your with her tonight.
