I'm a nurse at Scottsdale Healthcare in Arizona. These stories may not scare the crap out of you but they are pretty interesting. The first was the reason I began nursing. It was the middle of the night and I was sleeping. At the time I was an intern. I woke up and i had one of those feelings I was being watched. I looked up and there was a man standing over the bad. I tried to scream but no sound came out of my mouth. I was scared out of my mind. Not for a second did I think something paranormal was going on, I was thinking that this guy broke in. But I began to study him closer and he looked just like the guy I had helped the day before, he had a heart attack so I put him on an I.V. and left him. I continued to stare and his lips moved and he waved then dissapeared. I sat awake trying to reason with myself. But i started thinking about when he moved hil lips. I can still picture it. He mouthed Thank You
This next one is pretty short. I was taking care of a guy who had been in a car crash. I went into his room to change his bandages. I walked in and smelled smoke. Were you smoking? I asked him. Yeah, he replied, with the devil. Lit my ciggarette with his finger. Now at first I laughed but this guy was dead serious. Who knows
This one happened when me and one of my co-workers were sitting at our desk. A lady walked out of her husbands room, face tearstained and white as a ghost. She looked at me and said, Does that happen all the time? I asked her to explain. She began to explain how when her husband closed his eyes a bright light that started at his toes, moved up through his body and out his mouth. I had no response for her. But my co-worker looked at her and said, No not all the time.
Last one. One day Iwas taking care of a guy. I walked to his room and outside the door were a few men. I asked them what they were doing and they said, Just waitin' for our friend. When I walked in the guy was dead, and when i walked out the guys were gone. I asked somebody if they saw some guys leave and they said that they were the only ones on the floor other then me and my co-workers.
