Miranda was having a sleepover with her two best friends, her parents were in the house, and they had got a load of covers downstairs and made a little camp in the lounge. It was about 11.30pm and her mum and dad had gone to bed so she and her friends settled down in the camp and watched some TV. They were all getting tired but they didn't want to go to sleep because they were worried that if they did then the others would draw on their faces or put their fingers in water to make them pee. So they were all really tired and Charlotte (one of the friends, the other was Susie) heard something like a bump and then a little crying sound. She was really cconfused because Miranda doesn't have any brothers or sisters but she dismissed it because the others didn't seem to hear it. Then about 10 minutes later Susie heard a bump and a crying noise, but nobody else seemed to have heard it so she dismissed it. Then at about 11:50 there was a loud bang on the ceiling and the light fittings rattled. This time they all heard it and all sat up straight. Miranda got a bit creeped out because her parents bedroom was over the other side of the house so it couldn't have been them and she doesn't have any siblings. What was that? Charlotte asked. I don't know maybe it was just something in the study falling off the shelves. so again they dismissed the noise. At 12:00,
there was a quiet crying sound and a faint knocking at the front door, but nobody noticed it because they were so tired. The knocking noise spread to the front window, then the back door, then the back window, as if people were all around the house. That made the girls notice it. What is happening? Susie said, almost hysterical, all the time the crying noise upstairs was getting louder. I don't know but we can run to my parents room which will be safer. So the girls got up held hands and legged it up to Miranda's parents room. But they couldn't find them anywhere so they got the phone and dialled the police. The crying was reaching a scream and the police couldn't hear what the girls were yelling into the phone so they hung up and raced over to the house. The girls put down the phone as well and there was a enormous bang as everything in that room fell over. When the police arrived they crept in and were searching all the rooms. In the lounge they found the parents bodies, hung from the ceiling and in the parents room the found the girls. One was crushed by the wardrobe, one was hung and the other......well they only found her head.
Ten years earlier a family had been murdered by a crazy man, that was why there was ten minutes between each thing hapenning.
