A long time ago, there was an elderly couple who were ALWAYS misereble. one night the couple were lying in bed, all of a sudden there was a loud bang which sounded like it was coming from the front door then all they heard was Knock..knock..knock.. the wife then told her husband what she had heard. he went down stairs with a baseball bat. as they were creeping down the stairs KNOCK....KNOCK....KNOCK....they jumped then the husband went to the door and slowly opened it. there was a poor man trying to find his way home. "hello. im very sorry to bother you but im a poor man looking for a place to stay, can you help me?" the husband let the poor man in and let him sleep on the sofa. just before the elderly couple went upstairs, the man poor man said "i have a gift here for you" the husband took it and said "erm.. thank you but what good is this?" the poor man replied "it is a magical monkeys claw, you will get 3 wises out of this." then he lay down and fell asleep. in the morning when the couple woke up, the went down stairs to discover that the man was gone!

well later on that year, the couple remembered about the monkeys claw... well they made their first wish "i wish we lived in a HUGE manshion" one of the fingers went down and the house changed before them! soon enough they made their next wish to be rich and again 1 finger went down and of course they became rich! they only had one more wish an the had to think long and hard about this one. now roughly 5 years ago the couple had a son who worked as a fire fighter and one house was very high with flames, now when their son went in, he never returned and later that week, there son was found but sadly he died due to sevear heat so he was all black with burns. (back to the story)

this was the very last wish and the wife said i would like to make this wish. she had the monkey claw in her hand, grasping it tightly she said "i wish my sone was here as he is today" the last finger went down and they sat there in silence and....... nothing. later that week at exactly 00:00 there was a noise and they jumped out of bed and listened quietly and heard ..knock..knock..knock.. the couple went down stairs and heard it again and again but every time they heard it, it got louder every time ..knock...Knock....KNOCK..... they husband opened the door and all they saw was there son burnt crispy, maggots pouring from him and he said "be careful what you wish for" and the next day the family was found DEAD.
