There was once thisold woman who was about to die her only friend was a gardener. inher will she left every thing to the gardener apart for her ringswich she loved very much.she wanted to be bureid in her garden.soshe died and this man got all her stuff.now he was a very biggambler and he had betted of most of the house and he wanted itback he had no money left so in the middle of the night he dugher up and tried to get the rings off her fingers they were stuckso he chopped her fingers of and betted the rings the next day.
A week or so after he was sitting on his own in the living roomwith a fire going in front of him and the room suddenly went verycold. he felt a hand on his sholder but he cold not feel anyfingers. he turned and the lady was standing the with the axe hehad used to chop her fingers off with and she shouted "WHERE'SMY RINGS?"
