Ghost of Oberon Close
A few years back mywife and I lived in a house in Oberon Close in Waterlooville UK,which saw numerous unexplainable activities.
Around 1995 I had become ill with somekind of flu, but still hadan assignment to hand in for the journalism course that I wastaking at the time. My wife was out at the time and I was sat onthe sofa working on the assignment. To my right was the stairwelland I became aware of something watching me as I worked. I turnedto look but saw nothing, as I turned back I felt it was thereagain. The presence seemed to be a small Labrodor type dog or asmall blonde haired child, I couldn't distinguish which, but itdefinitely seemed to be male. When my wife got home from work Itold her what I had felt was there and she went pale. She told methat years before at that same house she was parking her car whenshe looked up in the rear view mirror and saw a little blondehaired boy staring back at her.
Another incident frequently took place in the back bedroom, atthe top of the stairwell. I had a collection of Star Warsmemorabilia, action figures and the like, set up on display.Frequently figures would be found resting by the door of thebedroom, yards away from where they had been displayed, as ifthey had been thrown there. I tested to see if there was anywaythey could have fallen and rolled or bounced to this spot and itwas impossible, even by throwing them myself I couldn't reach thedoor mark. The funny thing is that it was always differentfigures but always the same character - Han Solo, that was found.
We're not the only one to feel something in the house. Friendswho have come to visit have used the bathroom on occassion andhave felt uneasy, saying a presence was watching over theirshoulder while they were washing their hands. (The mirror abovethe basin looks back on the stairwell and this back bedroom)
At one point things got so uncomfortable that I felt that I hadto mention it to someone outside of our immediate family andfriends. Almost as soon as I had done this the presence seemed tolift somewhat. It was still there, but not as heavy as before.
Unfortunately I didn't do any research into the house or it'ssurroundings as we left in 1999 to move to a bigger place (theStar Wars collection was growing out of control my wife said),and we have not heard anything since.
