Whispers in the Wind
Okay this is a trueand pretty freaky story. Me and my friend Kraig were walking downKraig's extremly old cellar stairs (to get some fishing stuff)when one of the stairs broke and Leah fell through she said shewas all right. She screamed.
She said that she heard something through one of the old crackedwindows and wanted somebody to come down fast to get her becauseshe was stuck and scared half to death! Kraig quickly went down
to get Leah. I stayed where ,I was I was a chicken. Kraigcouldn't lift the stair off of Leah. His grampa was in a wheel-chair(and needed heavy stairs to hold his wheelchair)Kraig heard thenoise that Leah heard it sounded like some forgien guy trying totell us to get out. Kraig ran up and left Leah I followed. Leahscreamed and cryed Kraig told me that he felt bad and was goingback own. Since we were all 14 we felt like family and I couldn'tbare to see them all down in
the basement dealing with this sensation. Leah pushed herself outfrom underneath the stair as soon as I got down there. We all ranupstairs. We felt really stupid for being 14 and not having theguts to go downstairs with a.....thing! We finally wentdownstairs to see what the heck that was. We heared the voiceagain and it was speaking so we could understand the thing. Itwas mumbling some kind of sain. Leah fainted. It was saying lightas a feather stiff as bored. The way it was saying it, it soundedlike it was smiling. Leah slowley lifted to her feet, but without her hands. The voice was gone! I was so scared I was going towet my pants!!
Leah for some reason started shaking and screaming we have to getout we have to get out!!! Kraig didn't come to school the nextday. He said that his grampa was to sick. There were noises inthe cellar. He said that when he looked down in the cellar hetalked to the voice, and was not scared because the voice said hewas an early carpenter that had made those stairs, and one hadfell on him(which was the one Leah fell through) and he waswatching out for us. So we thought of him as our guardian andcalled him Whispers in the wind.
