Disturbing Reflection
Ok, no matter howmany times I tell this story, I always get the "chills".
This story takes place in a town called St. George Utah. It is atrue story, I know this for a fact seeing how my Uncle Mike, apolice officer, was there that night. Everthing took place around2:20 or so, on a rainy mourning. A girl, lets just call her, oh,Alexis, was baby sitting for a family down the street from whereshe lived. She was downstairs in the den watching some T.V.trying to stay awake.
Now before I go any further I have to explane exactly what theroom looked like. Imagine a square room with only two doors to it.One door leading to the back porch, and the door on the oppositewall leading to a hallway that ends in the kitchen. In the middleof the room between these two doors lies the couch, where Alexiswas watching the T.V. that was located on the wall
right by the back door porch.
This back porch door has a window on it. As Alixes was watching T.V.she glanced over at this door and noticed a man standing rightoutside it just looking through the window and starring at her.And you know when you see something like that you just freeze. You don't want to move cause your afraid that if you do, the manwill come after you. Well, that is exactly what happened toAlixes she froze. Finally after about ten seconds or so shegathered the nerve to reach over to the end table and grab thephone. She called the cops avoiding the window, and trying withall her might to not think about the man on the other sidestarrying at her.
When the cops came they had two fe-male officers trying to calmAlixes down at the kitchen table. Meanwhile there were about fouror five other officers surrounding the house doing someinvestagating. Finally My uncle and another officer went to gotalk to Alixes. My uncle asked, "Where did you say you sawthe man?" Alixes replied, "He was standing rightoutside the back door." My uncle says, "Well I don'texactly know how I should tell you this, but the man you sawwasn't standing outside that door. What you were seeing was the T.V.glow off his face, he was
standing behind you the whole time."
And they know that because there were muddy footprints comming inthrought the front door through the kitchen stopping and turningbehind the coutch and out the side door.
To this day no one knows what he was doing inside the house. Thekids were fine. He didn't rap Alixes, He didn't steal anything.
