Weird Eclipse
You might haveheard that when there is an eclipse, weird things happen. Wellhave I got a story for you! It was the night of the eclipse. Myfamily and I were waiting for it to happen. My mother finallygave up saying it wsa taking to long, and she went upstairs to goto bed. My dad feel asleep on the couch, and my little sisterfollowed my mother to bed. My big sister went outside to check onour horses. My brother was on msn. His friend was telling himstories about eclipses. I was reading them too. I read one abouta girl who went outside, because she wa mad at her mother for notletting her have a boyfriend or something. She took her bike androde off down the road. Her mother got worried, but the fathersaid she would come back. The next the mother cried, and cried.Her daughter was not back yet.
Her husband called the police. They said, they had found a girl,dead on the street. Something, bigger then a HUGE truck had runher over, even though she was on the sidewalk.
I got freaked out. My brother was laughing at me. I swore Iwasn't afraid. Suddenly my dad woke up. I told him the eclipsewasn't finished yet. My dad asked: "Where is everybody?"I told him where they were. "Go outside and help Danielle."(Daniellewas my sister who went outside to check on the horses). I lookedat my brother, scared, he was smiling. "Not afraid huh?"I smiled sarcasticly. "Nu uh!" I said. My father toldme to stop playing around, and when i told him about the story,he said it was just a joke, people making stories. My brotheragreed. But I still wasn't convinced. I got my jacket and wentoutside. I couldn't see much, so I turned on the porch light.When it was on, I saw Danielle backing up. I asked: "What'swrong?" She turned, she was crying. I looked in horror at myoldest horse. Her eyes were bleeding. Blood was every where. Mydad called the vet, but by the time he came, My horse was better.There wasn't even a spec of blood on her face.
The next morning, I told my mother. She said she knew, and whenit happened, the eclipse had just finished.
