Best Friends Forever

Littlechildren playing,
Even while praying.
Best friends for all time,
Sharing everything that's mine.

Growing up even more,
Playing softball and batting in a score.
went through elementary and junior high school,
Life seemed pretty cool.

Softball team went away,
We all went our separate ways.
Friends Amy and I will always stay,
Even through our toughest days.

High school came and crazyness began,
Studying over and over again.
Homework and late nights started,
And further and further we parted.

Early one morning the phone rings,
Sad news it does bring.
Knees suddenly feel weak,
I thought life was soon going to reach it's peak.

Everyday I feel regret,
Felling that her dreams will never be met.
Everytime i hear this one song,
I know that I am wrong.

life will never be the same,
Knowing I should stop telling myself that I'm the one to blame.
Her famous "Amy smile" I will miss,
But I know that in Christ she is my sis'.

Jesus Christ she has found,
And now she is homeward bound.
Amy, I will always love,
She is as bright ans pure as a dove.

The day we reunite,
The stars will be so bright.
That day will be filled with happiness,
seeing her again will remove all the years of pain and sadness.

Best friends forever,
Life the same as always, never.
Together again we will be,
But until then I will go on being the same old me.
