You are My Cure

You'vebecome my guiding star
who shines my life
with a golden light
and it's with me
day and night.

Your warm rays beam through my shadows
of the burden hurt
that runs inside me
and causes me to feel insane,
your my cure for all my heartache
and for the emotions that
cause me pain.

Your my shield,
the one who protects me
for when i feel myself at war,
there you are to hold me up
you strengthen me
inside out
to the centre of my core

My life is now meaningful
because of everything you do
you make everything
so bright and wonderful
by just being you.
