Then Again

You tellgod that you love her,
but then again you don't.
You tell God you'll take care of her,
but then again you won't.
You promised God you'd comfort her,
especially when she cried,
but I know you heard her screaming.
So then again you lied.
You promised God you'd keep her,
after you saw the very first sign,
but then again you kept telling yourself
that it wasn't the right time.
You told God you'd look out for her,
and never leave her side,
But you broke your promise to God,
and this is why your baby died.
