The First Time I fell in Love

The firsttime i fell in love
was when my eyes met yours
i used to think without you my life
would have no cause.

the other girls were jealous
when you wrapped your arms around me
but they all new that what we had
was simply ment to be.

then one day our relationship ended
what you did was unforgivable
and could not be mended.

but i still lie awake in bed
a picture of us in my head
falling slowly off to sleep
trying hard not to weep
i dream of you all night long
wondering really what went wrong.

until i am awoken
to remember
the first time i fell in love
was the first time my heart
was broken
