What it Feels like

Do youknow what it feels like to walk around wearing a smile
While deep down your heart is breaking inside?
To pass by him like nothing ever happened?
To pretend as if you don't even know him
Avoiding the stares of all his friends who believe the bull-shitstory he's told them.
Do you know what it's like to cry?
Thinking of him, knowing he's with her.
To feel the first tear drop slowly graze down your cheek.
As the rest come rushing down hitting the pillowcase
Leaving you all alone, in the dark, with nothing but a tear-stainedface.
Do you know what it feels like to know that there is nowhere tohide?
Because no matter where you go...
He will always be on the back of your mind.
