you are myfirst love
i finally admit
but your different now
your personality makes me sick

you think your so great
and for a while i did too
now i see who you are
i see the real you

you didn't seem to love me
you didn't seem to care
it didn't seem like you wanted me
or even wanted to be there

i loved you for so long
you didn't seem to mind
let me say im over you
and its about damn time

ive got a man in my life now
one who treats me right
he tells me that he loves me
we also never fight

he's nothing like you
and i thank God up above
i finally have a man to care for
a man who wants to fall in love
